Tiyo was born into a family of turtle people, a race of intelligent lifeforms living in a distant galaxy. She grew up in a small village on the planet of Utu, where she had a close-knit circle of friends and family. As a young adult, Tiyo found herself drawn to a life of adventure, and soon enlisted in the galactic army to fight in a war that had broken out between alien creatures and intelligent lifeforms.

At first, Tiyo felt a sense of excitement as she was stationed to the front line. She was eager to use her skills in battle and become a hero for the cause. But soon the harsh realities of war began to set in.

Between battles, Tiyo and her fellow team mates would talk and joke in an attempt to keep morale up. But even in those moments, Tiyo could feel the underlying sadness that came with the war. She would often think of her friends and family back home and wonder if they were safe.
